The Conference proceedings were opened by the chairman Don Paterson
The Guest Speakers who address our theme “Self Improvement = School Improvement”, locally and nationally, were:
Judith Johnson, Director of Learning & Schools Devon;
Sue Palmer, renowned author of “Toxic Childhood” (amongst other titles)

Bob Dore, Principal Bexleyheath School
There were three workshops:
1. Building Schools for the Future / Primary Capital Programme
2. Literacy and Numeracy in Primary Schools
Literacy and Numeracy Presentation
3. A Monitoring Tool for Governors
The Whitchurch Primary School Choir opened the conference with a performance of their award winning anthem D.E.V.O.N.
Whilst having lunch delegates enjoy listening to the Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School Choir.
