The Conference was opened by the chairman Don Paterson
The Guest Speakers addressed the theme “Tomorrow’s Schools”, locally and nationally. They were:

There were workshops on:
- Special Educational Needs Provision;
- Leadership Succession Planning;
- School Improvement Partners.
Many governors had the opportunity to join in the debate and had a chance to meet other Governors. Whilst having lunch conference delegates thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Devon Youth Choral Experience. A Question and Answer Session was held in the afternoon.
